NCPC & District Office of Planning to Hold Height Master Plan Public Meetings

In the next few weeks NCPC and the District Office of Planning will hold the first round of public meetings to discuss the work underway for the joint Height Master Plan for Washington, DC. Each meeting will provide updates on the scope and schedule of the study; outline how other cities manage building height; and provide opportunities for public feedback. The meetings’ objective is to gather input on how Washington’s Height of Buildings Act impacts federal and local interests. Each session will follow the same format and agenda. There are three phases to the study and each will include opportunities for public input. The second round of public meetings are anticipated in late July 2013.
