City-Wide Women's March on Washington Outreach Event

January 7 & 8
10:00 AM
Dupont Metro Station
Q Street Exit

A city-wide Women's March on Washington outreach event will be conducted next weekend (January 7th and 8th) in order to distribute flyers and hang posters in highly visible locations (metro stations, light poles, restaurant windows, houses of worship/community centers, etc.). Gatherings will take place at a central location (s) within each ward at 10:00 on the morning of both January 7th and 8th in order to distribute the flyers and posters, and to get out any further instruction on what areas to focus. One of the meeting locations for Ward 2 is Dupont Metro station, Q street exit.

Some helpful things to bring: packing tape and staplers!

Founded in 1922 in a townhouse at 1767 P Street, to promote and protect the interests of the residents, the Dupont Circle Citizens Association (DCCA) is the premier civic and residential organization in the Dupont Circle area.  DCCA brings neighbors, including residents, businesses and non-profit organizations, together to improve the quality of life in an active and diverse urban neighborhood. It holds membership meetings 9 times each year, which are open to the public, runs the Dupont Circle House Tour, resolves neighborhood issues through its committees, donates to local causes, and incubates innovative projects.
