SAVE THE DATE! Pride Parade 2016: Our Neighborhood's Biggest Annual Event

Pride Parade 2016 is Saturday, June 11.  Mark the date.  Join in the fun.

Please join Dupont Circle Citizens Association (DCCA) and Scoop the dog as we celebrate Pride, our great Dupont Circle neighborhood and two decades of Scoop being in the parade.

Scoop is a hot and unventilated dog so he needs to ride in a car with AC piped from the dash vents up his legs.  You get to walk with a colorful bag of 100s of small balls to throw to the cheering 100,000 plus spectators.  Bring yourself, bring a friend or relative.

Official parade kickoff is 4:30 pm.  We are waiting for details about our pre parade location.  Will let you know where and when to gather when we know.

Photo montage from last year’s parade was done by Susan Sanders.

Founded in 1922 in a townhouse at 1767 P Street, to promote and protect the interests of the residents, the Dupont Circle Citizens Association (DCCA) is the premier civic and residential organization in the Dupont Circle area.  DCCA brings neighbors, including residents, businesses and non-profit organizations, together to improve the quality of life in an active and diverse urban neighborhood. It holds membership meetings 9 times each year, which are open to the public, runs the Dupont Circle House Tour, resolves neighborhood issues through its committees, donates to local causes, and incubates innovative projects.
