We will not be holding the regularly scheduled DCCA Membership Meeting on the first Monday in October due to pre-election candidates' forums. DCCA is co-sponsoring a forum for the Attorney General candidates with the Woman's National Democratic Club. Please join us on Wednesday, October 15 at from 6-8 pm at the WNDC located at 1526 New Hampshire Ave.

The elected office of Attorney General for the District of Columbia was created through a referendum approved by the voters at the November 2010 General Election. "The Elected Attorney General Charter Amendment" was passed by the Council. It gives the Attorney General charge and conduct of all business law in the District of Columbia. An individual elected to this office shall serve a 4-year term to coincide with the term of the Mayor.

Founded in 1922 in a townhouse at 1767 P Street, to promote and protect the interests of the residents, the Dupont Circle Citizens Association (DCCA) is the premier civic and residential organization in the Dupont Circle area. DCCA brings neighbors, including residents, businesses and non-profit organizations, together to improve the quality of life in an active and diverse urban neighborhood. It holds membership meetings nine times each year, which are open to the public, organizes the Dupont Circle House Tour, resolves neighborhood issues through its committees, donates to local causes, and incubates innovative projects.
