The Programs Committee provides the venues and events for the DCCA Membership Meetings, held on the first Monday of each month from October through June. Programs for membership meetings occur at many different locations of interest, and include both educational and social activities.

Recent topics include:

February: Book signing and author talk for,“On Dupont Circle: Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt and the Progressives Who Shaped Our World” by James Srodes.

Location: Woman's National Democratic Club

March: Sustainable DC: A discussion about the mayor’s plan to make DC the greenest, cleanest, healthiest city in the nation over the next 20 years.

Location: The Chastleton Cooperative

April: Food Truck Association presentation about the growth of the popular food truck business in DC and discussion of proposed new regulations.

Location: Church of the Holy City

Founded in 1922 in a townhouse at 1767 P Street, to promote and protect the interests of the residents, the Dupont Circle Citizens Association (DCCA) is the premier civic and residential organization in the Dupont Circle area.

DCCA brings neighbors, including residents, businesses and non-profit organizations, together to improve the quality of life in an active and diverse urban neighborhood. It holds membership meetings 9 times each year, which are open to the public, runs the Dupont Circle House Tour, resolves neighborhood issues through its committees, donates to local causes, and incubates innovative projects.
